Barred owls....especially the young....are well camouflaged, shy, and hard to spot.  These big eyed, downy owlets are clearly distracted by the buzzing of a large beetle overhead.

Majestic Mantas on Midnight Blue

The otherworldly Giant Manta Ray is one of the most majestic animals in the ocean!  Spanning up to 30 feet wide they dwarf a human....but are completely harmless...feeding mostly on plankton.

Giraffe twins are rare in the wild and even more so in captivity.  This pair of baby giraffes with big knuckled knees.....are contrasted on a bright orange background.

Pounce!

This painting captures the drama of a beautiful blue Arctic Fox hunting the Arctic Lemming......a favorite staple.....on the tundra snow.

Manatee's Munch!

Manatees are underwater hogs......eating a large variety of vegetation and in huge amounts.  
This pair of colorful manatees (cow and calf) are busy munching on mangrove leaves, bulbs, and fanworts.

Owl at the Moon!

This mysterious Barn Owl is gazing at a full moon on a dark winter sky.  Barn Owls are well adapted to hunting at night.....and will use the moon as a light source to help spot prey.

This blazing red hot Llama with super long eyelashes.....is busy chewing on sprig of grass.......and contrasted on a soft buttermilk yellow background.

Road Runner on Raspberry Red

The comical mohawk'd Road Runner is the state bird of New Mexico.  Readily adapted to human environments....this large, zany bird can be seen hunting lizards across the desert as well as on suburban lawns.

Best Friends Orphans

African elephants are often victims of horrific ivory poaching that traumatizes and orphans baby elephants.  Youngsters who are lucky enough to be rescued....will respond to human care and rehabilitation. 

Best Friends Orphans (18x36 gallery wrap) is a group of rescued baby elephants 
who have become a close family unit.
